The Alcoa McCoy workshops were a brand new facility located closer to the open cut mine face including an eight bay heavy vehicle workshop with integrated stores and administration offices, six bay light vehicle workshop, two bay heavy vehicle refuelling facility and light vehicle refuelling facility.
The two bay heavy vehicle refuelling facility is serviced by five 110 kL diesel storage and the light vehicle refuelling bay has a dedicated 20kL diesel tank.
TFA designed the entire workshop facility.
