In 2023, Jet Zero announced their plans to develop Australia’s first ethanol to Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) plant, utilising LanzaJet’s Alcohol-to-Jet (ATJ) technology, converting bioethanol into SAF and renewable diesel.
TFA are proud to have been involved to date in the initial layout development, pre-feasibility engineering and costing study, as well as assisting with project approvals and investigations.
TFA, as longstanding members of Bioenergy Australia and as the designers of Australia’s first grain-to-ethanol facility at the Dalby Biorefinery in 2007, offer a committed and experienced team to partner with Jet Zero in this milestone project for the SAF industry in Australia.
