As part of ARENA’s Advancing Renewables Program, Viva Energy are developing Australia’s first publicly accessible hydrogen refuelling and electric vehicle charging station predominantly servicing the growing fleet of hydrogen powered trucks and buses.
The facility, referred to as the New Energies Service Station (NESS), will be located in front of the Viva Energy Geelong Refinery facility with branding exposure to the Princes Highway.
TFA were engaged by Viva Energy to assist with the design / layout of the NESS service station including concept design, town planning drawings and detailed design and engineering of the civil, structural, mechanical and architectural design scope.
TFA’s expertise has benefited the project and we are grateful for Viva Energy for giving us the opportunity to further our project involvement in this important industry. This is a significant project for Viva Energy and the future of transportation in Australia.
